The C.O.R.E. (Culture. Ownership. Religion. Engage.) system and manual illustrates a customizable option for retrofitting post-war slab apartments to service the needs, lifestyles and social networks of immigrant and growing families in Toronto. The highly adaptable, easy-to-build system is comprised of components that are readily found in local hardware stores and services a broad range of functions in residential and retail settings.
